Gift bags of toys, gifts and luxury food items are given each Christmas to individuals and families in the local area. Distribution of Christmas gifts is shared with local organisations such as Southside Families, Dartmouth Avenue Homelessness Services and Bath Welcomes Refugees.
If you know someone who would appreciate a gift from the church please contact Deacon Elizabeth Harfleet Tel: 01225 462426

Muddy Church
Muddy Church is an outdoor adventure of wandering and wondering about God in creation. Each month we explore different green spaces around Southdown and Whiteway, sometimes sharing a story or snack together as well as what we’ve discovered or created on our wandering.
Christians believe that God is at work in all of the beautiful world around us and that we share the responsibility of caring for creation. If you stop and pause while out in nature, you might just catch a glimpse or a sense of God’s presence.
Muddy Church takes place every 3rd Sunday of the month (except August) at Bath City Farm from 3:00pm – 4:15pm. For more information see Facebook page @ Southdown Muddy Church

Pastoral Visiting
Pastoral visiting of those who are sick or in need is an important part of the work of the Partnership Co-ordinator. Often she can offer practical support when other agencies are unable to.

Twerton Community Network
Twerton & Whiteway Community Network is a group of sixteen local organisations working together to support their local community. We first met together at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and quickly recognised the importance of a unified approach towards meeting the needs of the communities where we are placed. We have carried out two meetings, with some resident involvement and plan to recruit a Network Coordinator in order to develop the aims of the network. As a group of local organisations and residents we aspire to:
• Work together more collaboratively on projects for the benefit of our local community
• Identify needs of the local community that can be addressed by the network
• Share information on developments and activities taking place within Twerton and Whiteway
• Support residents to effectively tackle local issues and make Twerton and Whiteway a great place to live
